Event Origins: the rebrand

We couldn’t be more excited to present our new brand to all of you. It’s been a long time coming and while many of our clients know we were slow coming out the gate (this has been in the works for a while) they also know how particular we are when telling the story of who we are and what we do. Why Event Origins? Our agency services such a broad range of clients from charity fundraisers to corporate events and even custom weddings. When naming the company, we decided to focus on what we do for all clients. That is, create a place where something inspirational originates. Our events have led to --- a new school in South Africa, resources for new medical equipment or the beginning of a new marriage to name a few.
We did a full edit to our brand. New name, logo and colors. This new look better represents what the company has become over the last three years and relates better to our existing clientele. We started out with a brand that was really only speaking to our private clients for events like weddings and celebrations. Every year we have produced events for non-profit and corporate clients but our brand wasn’t representing this appropriately.
We developed a modern font with clean lines that represent our steadfast professionalism. The colors were selected based on familiarity with our previous work and leadership. Grey is at peace with itself - it’s strength is quiet, timeless and classic. Teal on the other hand is a colour that recharges the spirit - it brings a sense of calmness and rejuvenation. Finally, White evokes feelings of safety and openness - it is considered to be peaceful and pure.
